WEST Coast football manager Craig Vozzo believes a best-of-three grand final series is “worth looking at” as the proposal to shake up the AFL decider gathers momentum.
The push for a format change, led by Sydney chief executive Andrew Ireland with the reported backing of Adelaide coach Don Pyke, will this week go on the agenda at the league’s competition committee meeting.
The AFL earlier this year secured an agreement with the Victorian government to lock in the MCG as a grand final venue until 2057.
