Wood edges back ahead in Spijk

Chris Wood turned in 34 to maintain his one-shot lead in the final round of the KLM Open at The Dutch.

The Englishman entered the day with a narrow lead and while he was overtaken by Wu Ashun in the early stages, birdies on the second and sixth moved him to 14 under.

China’s Wu was one under through ten holes to sit a shot off the lead, one clear of Japan’s Hideto Tanihara.

Welshman Bradley Dredge, Scot David Drysdale, three-time Major winner Padraig Harrington and England’s Jonathan Thomson were three shots off the lead.
